Hi, zeldasmith! I think all you have to do, is turn the speaker over and you can see that there is a wiring harness connected to it. These wiring harnesses to have little clips that hold them in place. You may wiggle it a little bit to see if it pulls out, but make sure you don't pull it too hard because it might break. If it doesn't work to wiggle it to get it out, take a flat screwdriver and insert it into the wiring harness until it breaks free there. After that you can go ahead and remove the metal cage; at the back of the speaker is a big magnet so it may be a little bit difficult to get that cage off. Does it answer your question?
