Update List Head unit problems!.. Help!

    I have a Renault Clio 5 door expression 53 plate. It came with a Tuner List stereo which worked fine. I wanted to upgrade so that I could have an AUX input for my ipod so I bought an 'Update List' stereo (which I fitted today). When I switch the ignition on the stereo lights up but I can not turn it on, if I press the eject button or the number '5' button it makes a loud BEEP... nothing comes up on the display.
    What does this mean? Is the unit broken???

    HELP!

    Im afraid that you cannot interchange between tuner list and update list stereos. The cars wiring is specific to the stereos. Your going to have to sell on the update list or send it back if you can.

    If you want an AUX input for MP3 etcyou will need to look at another solution, maybe an aftermarket head unit.
