Whats the advantage of hardwired over portable? Wouldnt it be better to have one you can take anywhere?

    thanks

it is nice to be able to take the device anywhere, but the portable bluetooth hands free kits are really not the greatest. most people find that it is har to have a conversation because the device does not have a good microphone and speaker. with a hardwired, installed bluetooth kit, the microphone and speaker are seperate devices. they allow for a clearer conversation. also most of the good ones have a screen that will allow you to navigate through you whole phone book. you can find more information here

Well, portable devices may not perform just the same as hardwired devices. It may be use out of emergency purposes but can't count on it to do the whole day job.

portable devices would always have disadvantages. i agree that it can be used for emergencies but you just can't depend on it forever.

On the way I see it. There's really nothing that has no disadvantage whatsoever. Its always up to the user how he/she would see it.

Hello. Just read this. Thanks for your tip NickMack. I didn't know about that actually. I still think bluetooth's cooler though.

I'd rather have hardwired then. It seems that that's the best choice. Which among the two have best quality by the way? Anyone please? Don't know much about these so I thought I'd ask.
