So I just bought an 09 TC about a month ago and I was wanting to take my subs from my old Integra and put them into the TC. I have the stock Pioneer deck installed and I know you can still install everything to it just by buying a line output converter. The thing I'm concerned about though is the quality of the sound that will come out from my subs from the stock deck. I know I can get the Scion Premium Pioneer deck and I'd have no worries because that would let me just have the steering wheel control and also I wouldn't have to buy a line output converter since it has RCA outputs already. What I wanted to find out was if there were any aftermarket decks out there that let you use the steering wheel control. $400 for the Premium deck is steep if you ask me, but then again it does have the steering wheel controls. It would be great if someone could recommend a deck for me. Also it would be great to have some feedback from folks who have installed their subs on a stock deck and tell me what the sound quality you guys are getting. If it helps at all, I have a Rockford Fosgate P300-1 Amp powering 2 Rockford Fosgate P1S410's.
