Playing your iPod in your car?
Ugh, my old car had a cassette player and I had the tape deck ($10) and played crystal clear music. Now I have a new car (2003 Honda Civic EX, if that helps) with no cassette player. I'm trying to connect my ipod to my car but I don't know how. I will not get a FM transmitter, they suck. Is there any other way? And what is a AUX jack or whatever? Where could I find it in my car? Also could I ask my dealer to install something into my car so I can just play my ipod?

Not all FM transmitters suck. I have a Belkin FM Transmitter for an iPod, and the sound is absolutely crystal clear.

If your stereo has a small jack plug input for auxilliary input, then you will be able to plug your iPod into that.

NB. I have both, and the quality from the Belkin FM transmitter is every bit as good as the direct auxilliary input. I played the Belkin through my friends car stereo, and he said that his car stereo had never sounded so good.
