Hi, I'm curious about how hard it is to make the Pioneer Premier Deh-p400UB skip. I have a complete aftermarket car audio system. My nice Clarion headunit quit ejecting CD's so I need to get a new headunit and I'm tight on money.

I can't find how many seconds the shock proof memory covers. Does anyone personally know if this headunit doesn't skip at high volumes? This headunit goes from 1-62, I'm talking about the 35-62 volume range.

actually a nice deck last yrs model. but the max volume is 80% of 62 so 48-50 should be the highest you ever turn it upto, otherwise you will be sending a clipped signal.
