OE CD changer and aftermarket head unit

    hi,
    i expected to get 10,000 results after searching for this but i didnt get anything. i just got a CD changer from a friend. works spot on. i have a sony CDX GT300 head unit which doesnt opperate the cd changer, or recognise its there. now i assume i need some kind of in-line adapter or something but i cant find any info about it. any help would be great.

    IIRC, your aftermarket cd player wont recognize the stock cd changer in the trunk. I dont believe there will be an adapter, mainly due to brand differences. You would most likely need to get a sony cd changer for the trunk.
