Ipod adapter or Aux Apapter

    I'm looking to buy a new Jetta and the dealer told me that in order to get the Ipod Adapter you have to give up the Aux adapter....Is this true?

    I would hate to give up the Aux adapter because I have other MP3 player as well as XM radio that I can play through it, just to give up the benefit to have a place to power up your Ipod and see the titles come across the display..Ipod adapter or Aux Apapter

    why not just buy the adapter that plugs into the Aux port to the ipod, all I do with my Aftermarket HU...bought it at the Source/Radio shack $25
