So i got a sub and amp for my birthday (yay!). But i am a bit confused as to how to go about installing it. I can install all the power components of the amp but i dont know how to connect my oem head unit to it. My local audio specialists say it can be done because my amp has something called "High Input". Currently i can control my factory sub with the options on my factory head unit. If i can install this sub can i controll it the same way?

If you can find the factory sub amplifier in your honda you could locate the input wire to that amp and use it for the low level input for your new amp, this way you could control your new sub amp with your factory head unit. You will have to connect the ends of the wiring with rca plugs though. WARNING..this can be very complicated for a novice...but it will work. I have done this with some Ford systems before. I would get a professional to do this or just find me a good aftermarket stereo! Good Luck
