    ok i just installed the 1600 d to 2 hx2 10"s. i have them wired to 1ohm.

my question is was this amp big enough for these subs.

i have gain all way up and remote all the way up and they dont distort but they seem to not be hitting as hard as they should. or could it be that im deaf!!!!!!

what is the most efficient way to wire the amp and subs. dvc4ohm rockford hx2

    and the hifonics 1600d

uhhh the amp's gain SHOULD NOT be cranked all the way up. It should be set at your head unit's premap rating, so if it's 4v, the amp gain should be set at around 7 or 8 o' clock. Your lucky that your electrical system isn't damaged, but sooner or later it will if it's cranked all the way up.

if those dual 4ohm dvc subs are wired as 1oohm, then you have them as parallel and you SHOULD be feeding them the full power
