Is this a good cd player i will be happy with. says it has 5v . the dealer i buy from said for what im looking for and what this cd player has should do a great job. never owned an eclipse but never heard anything negetaive about them. im paying $275. the clarion i have now does not have any sub settings and is not letting the hifon 1600d perform like it should.

I used to have one of Clarions high end pro line head units that had most of the bells and whisles but ended up giving it back to the guy I got it from cause it skipped real bad when the bass hit hard. I repalced it with an Eclipse head unit. I believe it was the 8445 with the 8v pre outs and it was a night and day difference. However the Clarion was a few years older. Having said that I've heard alot of good comments on the Eclipse units and am very happy with mine.
