I have a pioneer dehp5800mp. I am looking to connect my IPOD to head unit, but i want to be able to control my music from my ipod, i DO NOT want to control my ipod from the head unit. I was looking at the CD-IB100II and that does connect my IPOD to my head unit without an FM transmitter which i want to do, but then the ipod is useless and controlled through the head unit. Any ideas or solutions? Thanks.

You'll need a CDRB10 (or CDRB20 if your also running a cd changer, but those are rarely used anymore) and a 1/8" to RCA connection cable. The CDRB10 plugs into the P-Bus input of the radio, and then you will need to go into the radio's menu and turn the aux on.
