bad speakers?

    i just installed re 6.5c components 50w rms in car running off alpine mrp 250 thats 40x4 it sounded good for 2 days and now at mid to high volume they distort and cut out.not like 2 but all 4 speakers.maybe a loose wire?blown? any ideas?

    I think maybe a loose wire. You have to check it first.

    Could be a loose wire, yes. OR??? they're not just plugged properly.

    Yes i agree with nakchura it can be a loose wire or it is not unplugged properly. I think there is a warranty for that.

    Wait, I changed my mind. You said the sound became distorted right? Then the problem could be in the internal components of your speakers. There may have been a power surge or some grounded wires in it. Better check the inside.
