Unit is fairly easy to use, but was not 100% self-explanatory. That is to say, I did have to refer to the instructions to get it to work the first time. Will not broadcast on FM channels below 88.1 (i.e. 87.9) like my Tom Tom GPS. This limits finding channels without any radio station interference or hiss. Tip that inserts into cigarette lighter receptacle is a screw on, and it came un-screwed while inserted. Was able to retrieve and suggest gluing to prevent future occurences. Overall good value compared to similar units priced at Best Buy for $50-60.
