Hi everyone, I'm hoping someone knows what i'm talking about. I used to have an older Alpine head unit, and the old one did the same thing as my new one. i believe my new one is the 9885. but my problem is that the bass, treble, and boom is all there, until the volume surpasses level 22. as soon as i turn the knob to 23, it's as if its not producing the boom. i mean the bass is there, it's just not as strong and the clarity of the words is a little off aswell. its very weird and i have absolutely no idea whether it's a head unit thing, alpine thing, or my amp. i highly doubt its the amplifier. i currently just got a new rockford fosgate amp. i think it's the 601s model. but anyway if ANYONE has either had this problem or knows how to fix, it Speak up, cuz i'm pulling my hair out.

    thanks.
