i have 2 kicker cvt shallow mount 12's(400 rms a peice) , and i've been lookin for a new amp
i was wondering if it would be better for me to buy one with a lil more rms (such as 1000) or better to buy the Kicker ZX 750 with 750 rms?
i dont want to take a risk on blowin the subs on my low budget
please help
if they are going into sealed boxes they will take 400 rms all day maybe 500 if you are conservative with the volume and gains. if they are going in a ported box do not push more than 200 rms per sub.
I assume you have the 4 ohm models? if so send me an email I have several options for an amp. the 750.1 would be fine but cheaper and similar power can be had for 1/2 of what kicker is. a brutus 1210d is perfect for them with 900 rms at 2 ohms and 1200 rms at 1 ohm.
