600 watt 2 channel amp

    Can a 600 watt 2 channel amp be hooked up to a pair of 6x9s' that have a peak rating of 225 per speaker or will it blow the speakers? Also how can you make a 2 channel 300 watt amp sound louder?

    first thing - forget about peak power numbers, look at RMS.
    2nd - brands and model numbers would be helpful -- amp and speakers.
