I just bought a 00 jetta, the previous owner had a indash dvd/nav system in it but took it when i bought it. I bought a 6.5inch pioneer dvd (not a flip up) to put in since all the wiring is there and what not. The problem is that there is space all around the system and it moves around in the opening and apparently they dont make a harness/plastic casing thing to secure the dvd player in place there casue the jetta is not supposed to have a double size space for this kind of system. I was wondering if anyone has done this to their car or if they know if the stock stereo fixtures will work. Any help would be appreciated. I know the explaination is kinda bad, any more info will be given when asked. PLEASE HELP!!!

Sell the DVD player at get the OEM navigation system! Fits in the snug as a bug. I'm sure that's what the PO had.
