Every thing works fine unitl engine is turned off and system is running from battrey. Although battery is little weak but works well to drive audio system.</p> <p>The problem arises whenever i start my car and drive, i can feel significant bass loss. I can't say it's completely gone but it doesn't feel solid bass as it feels when engine was turned off.</p> <p>there is no alternator whine or any other distortion. I have in the doors Memphis MSQ5 run off a 200 watt amp. I built a center pod in the dash and installed a Memphis PR 5 1/4 (4 ohm speaker). It is bridged off of the headunit. (I plan on installing an amp/center channel processor one day) The problem I have is being how close it is to my ears it out plays the MSQ's. I read somewhere I can put a 4 ohm resister inline with the PR to make it softer.
