I guess I should start from the beginning.

I'm trying to copy my music files from my iPod onto my PC. (I currently run WindowsXP) However, good old Apple has made it so we can't transer our music from our iPods back onto iTunes.

Anyways, I found multiple tip sites that say you can transfer music by locating the iPod Control folder. Well, I've tried it and I can't find it anywhere. I have already tried going to [ Tools --> folder options --> Show Hidden Files & Folders ] and checked the box labeled 'show hidden files and folders', but still the iPod control folder does not appear.

Any ideas on how to find it? Or does anyone have an easier way of transferring music from an iPod to iTunes without downloading a third party program?

Any help on the matter is greatly appreciated,

It has been on my system for about 2 weeks now. It pops up when I start up my desktop. Wincenter pops up along with it. I have malwarebytes previously installed but it will not run when I click it. Through my online searches I see that I need to change the file extension from exe. to bat. which I have done. So instead of running the software when I re-install it(I have uninstalled the previous version) I save it to my desktop. I believe it defaults to the name mbam-setup. I include the bat extension when I save it( so it says mbam-setup.bat) Now when I try and run the set up I see that it is a MS-DOS Batch file and save it. But yet again it will not open. I try in safe mode and with normal sign on screen. One of my desktops have been completely altered and i'm not sure what to do.

I would rather ask what I can do to help myself before spending hundreds of dollars at an electronics store.
If you can help please give me clear step by step instructions.

What speed are you burning at? Some CD players have problems with CD-R media that's burned too quickly causing high levels of jitter.
Most recommend 16x for audio CDs.

I'd be tempted to try and shield the M-Audio 1010 card, and/or change the pci slot if it helps distance it. Or if it's the proximity of the PSU - shield that.

The noise source tho could be a handful of things that u would have to deduce from a process of elimination.

If it's just a workstation, u may consider putting a weaker gfxcard in there. I found them to emit quite a bit. Find something that's silly-cheap, I mean u can get £10 pcie cards if u look long enough - they'll just display.

Peugeot 307 cd player problem and possible aftermarket upgrade query :)?
My 307 2004 style's cd player gets stuck when i try to eject the cd, it just clicks. I took it to my local car audio tune and it was said i needed a new player.

The problem is that if i get a new player my lcd screen on the dash wont work, i know you can get a special cable that allows it to be linked to the steering wheel stalk so is it possible to get a lead to allow an aftermarket with the screen too.

Can anyone suggest any good upgrade bearing in mind it should be compatible with screen and stalk. or even if anyone had the same problem, how to fix it.

Also im doing away with the 5 cd changer, do you know where i can get the replacement storage compartment that is in the 307's with no changer, id like this little compartment. Cant find it on ebay, theres only a cd changer compartment.

looking forward to any answers!
