Anyone know where there is video on a aftermarket head unit install? I have it up until the part where you need to need to connect the wires to the back of the head unit. Then I'm lost completely.

I tried to have Best Buy install it, but when they hardwired it into my car stereo, it would run my battery down when the car was turned off. The guy at Best Buy said all he did was hook it up through a hot wire and he didn't know why it drained the battery when turned off. Any suggestions?

I bought this, but I notice the radio reception is very poor. When I am moving around, the signal is intermittent all the time.

Hello. Okay, I'm going straight to the point now if that's okay. Has any of you bought a new aftermarket radio? I mean, did any of you here went to car places to install it? If yes, well... How much does it normally cost? I got offers that ranges from $1500 to $2000. Anyone? I'm just asking cause I'm having a feeling they're just ripping me off.

I am not sure whether this forum is about connecting my iPod to my radio that I have already brought by plugging the ipod in (the 3 & 3/4 or whatever its called headphone jack) or whether you mean acutally customising the unit to allow the ipod to play through it?
