Kenwood eXcelon DNX9140 GPS Navigation- New Product
by Nick Mack ~ January 19th, 2009. Filed under: New Products.
In my opinion, Kenwood makes the best in-dash navigation units. They all use Garmin Navigation. Out of all the navigation software out there, I find Garmin’s to be the easiest to use and the most up to date. Also, out of all the Kenwood navigation units I have sold, I have never had someone come back dissatisfied with the units functionality. Kenwood has not started shipping the new units yet. They are scheduled for release in March of 2009. I can’t wait to get my hands on one.
This double-DIN DVD receiver from Kenwood has some impressive features including:
- 6.95″ WVGA touchscreen control screen
- Garmin navigation software
- voice recognition control for navigation and other connected sources
- 3 Skin GUI with customizable startup
- built-in Bluetooth by Parrot
- true 5.1 surround-sound with 5V Preouts
- USB direct control for iPod A/V content
- optional MSN Direct Tuner for traffic, movies, gas prices, etc
The wait is over, I finally got my hands on one. Check out my Kenwood DNX9140 Review.
