Parrot Bluetooth Car Hands Free Kit 3200-LS CK3100 LCD CK3000 Review

When it comes to bluetooth hands free car kits, Parrotis the best. There is no company better. Hands down, their kits have the best phone compatibility of any phone kit made. Not only do they have the best phone compatibility, the kits will download your whole phonebook and allow you to access it directly from the phone kit without touching your phone. Everything is controlled from a small screen that is mounted somewhere on your dash.

There are so many phone kit manufacturers out there, why do I recommend Parrot? I recommend Parrot bluetooth kits because they work. There are a lot of other kits out there that just don’t work. They won’t pair with a lot of phones out there. One company’s kit would not pair with any Verizon phones. Thats ridiculous, Verizon has like a 20% market share. Also, once paired, a Parrot bluetooth kit will connect to the phone, and stay connected. A lot of other kits will unexpectedly disconnect from your phone.

Parrot makes 3 popular bluetooth kits. The 3200-LS, the 3100 LCD, and the CK3000. I recommend the 3200-LS. They all have the same phone compatibility, but the 3200-LS is the easiest to use. The 3200-LS has a small color screen that has to be mounted somewhere in your vehicle. From that screen you have wireless control of your phone. You can access you entire phone book, missed calls, dialed calls, received calls, and dial numbers. It is very simple to use. Also, to make things even easier, the bluetooth kit has voice recognition.

Now for the installation. For most cars you have two options :

Option one is an external speaker, which is the easier option. For this, you hide dedicated speaker under the dash. This requires no wiring into you stock speaker system. There is nothing wrong with this option. With the correct speaker mounted in the correct place you will be able to hear your conversation perfectly.

Option two is wiring the bluetooth kit to your factory speakers. This option is harder and requires more time and talent. Even though Parrot makes many vehicle specific, plug and play harnesses which make the install easier, it is still a little harder and more costly than an external speaker. Even though it is harder, I recommend this option. When done correctly you will have a crystal clear conversation and it will be like the car came stock with the bluetooth kit.

Parrot is a company that is dedicated to making the best bluetooth phone kits out there. I think they have succeeded. Their bluetooth kits work with almost every bluetooth phone out there . If your bluetooth phone is not compatible with a Parrot kit, get a new phone because there is no help for it.
