This nav unit has been out and is selling at Crutchfield now. I've purchased and installed one in my 2010 WRX, and I really like it. Good, snappy nav interface, with microSD card for future map updates. Radio has selectable colors to match with interior lights, and the bluetooth phone function works like a charm.

At 1k, a pretty good deal for a double din, kenwood excelon brand new.

I'm stationed in Germany and want to purchase the DNX 9140. Can I upload European Maps to the system for use while I'm here for 2 years?

Hmmm, point one... its not because you drive a porsche that 1000$ is peanuts thats crap! Rich people dont work this way 90% of them will say its a bloody expensive piece of kit just for bleutooth.
On the other hand when daddy is paying for everything ... what the hell...

About the tooki , i was thinking of buying it for my cayenne to use with my HTC HD2 but first i would need to know for 100% if it works.
honestly i think its way to expensive and they would sell lots more if it would only be 3 to 400 $ ... aaah well.

I have a 2007 Nissan Sentra, and had the XM module professionally installed (factory radio remains installed). Is there any interface device that allows me to have control of my iPod through my factory radio, leaving the XM radio as well?

I am just wondering, I am looking for the best of the best. Why not right. This Kenwood seems close, if not the one. The only thing that I have a question about is this:

Can you be using navigation as well as playing music through your speakers? That woiuld really suck if you couldn't.... THanks for any feedback.

Nick, I've just had the DNX-9140 professionally installed & I'm stumped on how to get the i-pod videos to play the next video (shuffle mode). There doesn't seem to be any means to forward to the next video unless it's in the same category.
The rest of the unit is fantastic... the picture quality and sound is amazing.

Hi, I am thinking of geting one and I am most intrested to play music. I presently have a pioneer D3 and I hate it. I make dvd mp3 which holds a lot of music. will this unit play them also? I understand the player is a killer system and that is what I am after.
Keep up the good work

I just purchsed the avic z110bt for my new car. The bluetooth features with my LG VX10000 phone work terrible. voice recognition barely works and there are background noices when I speak. The echo cancel feature MUST be turned on or the other side can not understand you, turning it on affects the clarity but it is better than not using it. There is no fix firmware out yet and for my phone, possibly wont be. It has been suggested that my phone is why it works poorly by tech support. Despite the contact list pushing to the phone correctly, it still does not recognize names well - told there is more to it than the name appearing correctly in the contact list.
Aside from that - all other features are terrific and it is a great unit. very pleased, but the bluetooth handsfree use problem is a disappointment.
